Do You Doubt For A Moment?
What you know to be true. ♥️
Do you doubt,
for a moment,
what you know
to be true?
When you listen
to those who
want you to,
question your logic,
your thoughts,
and existence.
Who make you think,
that’s not right;
and it’s you,
not them,
they have no doubt!
When your thoughts
are keeping you
safe and strong,
to warn and protect you,
and tell you
what’s wrong.
So listen
with care, awareness,
and truth…
for YOU will be right
if you listen,
to YOU 💛

Hidden Resilience, this poem gives voice to the moment when outside pressure tries to make a person mistrust their own perception. The turn toward listening with care, awareness, and truth honors intuition as protection, especially for readers learning to recognize when doubt has been placed in them by someone else. The Frida Kahlo self-portrait pairing adds a fitting visual presence: steady, direct, and self-possessed. Thank you for sharing a compact reminder that inner knowing can be part of resilience.
Gut feeling
I suppose
Unease
Quizzical
Yet
They are so confident
Self righteous
Bold
I'm bowled over
Naw
Can't be right
That's a misquote
Out of context
Wrongly applied
To prove a point
Win the argument
Just to win
Not discuss
Debate
Seek truth
Understand.
Disappointing
What some people do
Ruled by prejudice
They cannot see
Unchallengable
So sad, really
Lovely post
You might just be right
